REFLECTION IS THE DAUGHTER OF SCANDAL knüpft hier an, aus unterschiedlichen Kulturen.

Thinking includes all processes that try to form knowledge from an inner activity with imagination, memories and notions. The public, the private sphere, property and living space are among the central questions the artists in the exhibition are dealing with.
Especially due to the pandemic these terms have come into sharp focus. By withdrawing from social interaction we experience values, space and content in a new way.
“Heaven’s door is open to us like a big vacuum cleaner” Pati Hill declared in 1975 in her collection of poems “Slave Days” regarding the limited scope for development women have. Hill develops a sensitivity towards everyday objects. REFLECTION IS THE DAUGHTER OF SCANDAL ties in here, from different cultures.
